Matildas: The World at Our Feet – Disney+ Documentary

Tomorrow’s Creative provided the UK Director of Photography and camera package for Matildas: The World at Our Feet. The six-part sports documentary series was produced for Disney+.

The programme follows the Matildas, Australia’s women’s national football team. It captures their journey as they prepare for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup on home soil.

UK Filming for the Matildas Disney+ Documentary

Tomorrow’s Creative supported the UK section of the international production. Our role included filming interviews and supporting footage for the documentary series.

However, the UK material also needed to match footage captured in other countries. Therefore, we worked closely with the wider production team to maintain a consistent visual style.

Professional lighting helped present each contributor naturally. In addition, careful composition supported the intimate tone of the documentary. Clean sound and dependable camera equipment also ensured the footage met the production’s technical requirements.
