S&W Business Awards Video in Manchester
Our S&W Business Awards video campaign in Manchester captured real conversations with business leaders in a social-first format. The content supported post-event marketing across LinkedIn, web, and social channels. As a result, the campaign delivered short, punchy assets that were easy to publish and share. We designed the S&W awards video series to feel authentic, polished, and built for performance.
S&W awards video concept: taxi interviews
The concept used four custom S&W-branded taxis. They collected selected guests during the day before the evening awards. Inside each taxi, the hosts interviewed guests about their businesses and growth plans. They also discussed the challenges they were working through. Because the interviews happened in motion, the content felt more natural than a static sit-down. At the same time, the Manchester setting gave the Manchester awards video a strong local identity.
Manchester awards video production setup
To keep the quality consistent, we crewed each taxi with one camera operator and one sound recordist. Therefore, every interview had clean audio and dependable coverage. We also filmed several takes while driving across Manchester. This allowed us to capture the strongest answers without rushing the guests. Earlier in the day, we shot Manchester B-roll, including landmarks, street scenes, and atmosphere shots. In turn, those cutaways helped the S&W Business Awards video feel bigger and more dynamic.
Kit and format for LinkedIn event video
For the primary camera, we used the Sony FX3 with a Sony 24–70mm f/2.8 GM II. This setup stayed sharp and stable in tight spaces. Alongside that, we used a GoPro HERO13 as a wide safety shot in 5K. We captured everything in 4K DCI. Therefore, we could crop, reframe, and create clean cutdowns for LinkedIn and social media. Importantly, the format kept the edit flexible across different aspect ratios and placements.
Crew and event photography
We supplied a Director of Photography for the lead taxi unit. This helped maintain a consistent look throughout the campaign. In addition, we provided event photography for guest arrivals and key moments. As well as supporting PR, the stills extended the S&W awards video rollout across social media and internal communications.
