Teenage Cancer Trust Great North Run event video

Tomorrow’s Creative produced a fast-paced charity event film for Teenage Cancer Trust at the 2019 Great North Run. The one-minute video captures the scale and atmosphere of the day while keeping the runners, supporters and fundraising at the centre of the story.

Filming at one of the UK’s largest mass-participation events required a lightweight and responsive approach. Our team captured the build-up, action along the route and the emotion surrounding the charity’s runners, then shaped the footage into a concise film designed for online and social use.

If your charity or organisation needs energetic event coverage that can be used across campaigns and social media, contact Tomorrow’s Creative to discuss your project.

Capturing energy and human stories

Strong charity event content needs to communicate more than the scale of the occasion. It should also show the people and purpose behind the fundraising. We combined wider race-day coverage with close observational moments to create a film that feels immediate, positive and personal.

The final edit uses a quick pace and a clear visual journey to hold attention within a short running time. This makes the film suitable for websites, social channels, supporter communications and future campaign promotion.
